Wear bold patterns and prints. You do not need permission to wear Stripes, Polka Dots, or Florals. But here’s your pep talk!! Last year in one of my most popular posts I asked, “Are You A Stripe Rebel?”

I wear stripes in rebellion. I wear stripes for every time I’ve picked up a magazine or watched a fashion segment on TV that projected this notion that STRIPES were not for plus size women or women with big hips, or anything big for that matter. God forbid if stripes were horizontal. Always remember this, life is too short, wear what you want to wear! Be bold! Be confident! And rebel against all fashion rules!

Check out how I rocked and styled my striped bodycon dress 2 ways!

Stripes are rebellious and bold. This spring and summer you will find me in stripes, bodycons, and everything off-the-shoulder. I love to maximize the possibilities of my looks. This off-the-shoulder striped bodycon dress from Rainbow  is extremely versatile. You can style bodycons for causal looks, night out on the town looks, to layering! I thought to maximize my bodycon dress by styling it as  skirt. tassle

Look 1:

For Look 1, I wanted to go for an everyday chic look. I would take every opportunity to wear this look out for lunch or a day of retail therapy. I’m a heels-kinda-girl, so I stepped outside of my go-to zone and paired my off-the-shoulder striped bodycon dress with these adorable tassel tie up flats. I styled this look with big hoop earrings and high bun!

Look 2:

GRAPHIC TOP | STRIPED SKIRT |STRIPED PLATFORM SANDALS

Sex, Love, and Rock & Roll! For Look  2, it was all about being a sexy but edgy rocker chick! I’ve been seeing these band graphic tees everywhere. I added my touch of chicness to this trending style by pairing the tee with my bodycon dress turned pencil skirt and pin-up inspired striped platform sandals.
