Joy Ride: Curvature Boutique

Joy… A three letter word people seek to find for a lifetime. I pose the question, can you find JOY in the form of an outfit?!  The answer is YES and it’s the exact feeling I had when I layed my eyes on Curvature Boutique’s coral/orange quilted skater dress. I am beyond excited to bring you Curvature Boutique’s #TripleSlayFashion series this week, where I have the opportunity to style my skater dress 3 ways!

This post is all about seeking the joy in fashion – wear bright colors, mix prints & patterns, periodically step outside of your fashion comfort zone and… rock it! I truly believe if joy was a color it would be orange, a coral-ly colored orange to be exact. Joy is the color of Curvature Boutique’s quilted skater dress. The color just draws your eye in and you cannot help but to stop and admire its presence. In addition to the color, this dress has an amazing quilted patter and texture. Finally, let talk about the shape and cut of this dress. The dress is extraordinary, because it will flatter all figures. The details are brilliant: quilted pattern throughout bodice and skirt, scope neckline, pleated skirt, and high-low sided hemline. You could not ask for anything more in this dress!

For this look I wanted to create an effortless sexy sophisticated look. I styled my Curvature Boutique skater dress as a tunic. I added a statement pair of trousers to this look. The trousers are ahhmazing. The bold navy blue, white, orange and coral geometric tribal print is striking amongst the coral in the dress. You all know, I had to mix patterns somewhere in my look! I found a glorious navy blue pinstriped and floral scarf that I styled into a head piece. I completed my look with nude heels to not fight against the colors and prints.

The creative direction behind this look was inspired by the essence of a date night under the stars riding on a Ferris wheel! I wanted to create an effortless sexy look! I pictured the tunic/dress flowing in the wind, while the chic scarf guarantees your hair will stay intact, and finally there’s is nothing sexier than tailored pants and heels!
