6. Proof Brewing Company

Calling all beer connoisseurs— world-renowned Proof Brewing is the largest brewery in Tallahassee. Delve into the tasty brews in the tasting room, outdoor beer garden, or Brewpub that also serves up delectable Southern dishes. 6. 

7. Florida Agriculture & Mechanical University 

Oh, hail the illustrious Florida A&M University! Rattlers striking from the top as the #1 public HBCU. FAMU exudes Black excellence, brilliance, and community. Take a tour and learn more about the university’s long-established history such as; The Marching 100 Band, Eternal Flame, and the Meek-Eaton Black Archives Research Center and Museum. #FAMUly is the essence of Florida A&M University, the innovators and groundbreakers across every field.7. 

8. The Bradfordville Blues Club 

A stop not to be missed on your visit to Tallahassee. Soak in all the funky, rhythmic Blues tunes in this “one-room cinder block “juke joint” featuring nationally recognized acts, a dose of folk music history, plus mouthwatering fried catfish. 

9. The Grove Museum

Tour the Call-Collins House of The Grove Museum, a landmark created on the land of Indigenous people, built by enslaved persons in the 1830s, and preserved to celebrate, remember, and learn more about its storied history. The museum inside features interactive exhibits that shed light on past culture, history, and the civil rights movement. 

10. Cascades Park

Stroll through this picturesque 24-acre park that sits next to the St. Augustine Branch stream. Take in the views, walk through over 2 miles of trails, and revel in the history (Smokey Hollow Commemoration, Voice of Trees, Prime Meridian Marker, Korean War Memorial, and much more).

11. Railroad Square Art District

Have yourself an art-filled day at Railroad Square Art District. The historic WWII-era industrial park now houses over 70 small shops, galleries, and studios offering everything from original artwork to vintage clothing to dinner options to a rock-climbing gym.
